Happy Birthday Wendy!

It has been so great to get your help with my new house. You are very talented and creative and I appreciate the good example of hard work and moving forward in your life. You have been an invaluable support to me and I wish you the best and many happy times ahead. I enjoy spending time with you and just wanted to say "come again! on my berday!" xoxo

Happy Birthday Kristyn!

Sorry this is late! It is so refreshing to have you in our family. You are always so cheerful and kind and complimentary - it is great as our family can become too serious sometimes. Thank you for your unending support and love and all the light and smiles you bring to our family!! You are a great little sister in law and an excellent mother.

Happy Birthday Wendy!

When I think of how creative you are, yes I think about the baby blankets and the mending you've done, but what I really think about is the time when we lived on Hill street and you made a whole paper model neighborhood with each home having unique features. I thought that was so cool! I also loved the blue alien/ Jim Hensen Muppet dude you made out of paper mache! It was incredible! Where is that thing?
Best of all you've created some great relationships, even one with your annoying little brother like me. I love you sister. Happy Birthday.

Wendy,
Happy Happy Birthday!
Your talents are so appreaciated by everyone.
I have the curtains you designed and a picture of the temple in
Mesa that I love. I love the picture you did of yourself . Its is so good. I have kept
many of pictures that all my kids so we will so through them some day.
You have a way with hair too. You can fix it a dozen different ways.
Wish you were closer.
Love you so much
Mom and Dad

Happy Birthday Wendy-bird!

You are one of the most creative persons I know, and coming from a creative bunch, that says something. I still have the sunflower pictures you painted for Vic, Joy and I when we lived in our apartment here in Mesa. You just look at something and say, it needs this touch and then wham!, you go and make it. This is a picture of our kitchen with a "Robinson family" plaque. We had just finished a small remodeling job and I think you found the 2x4 in the scrap pile, and just started with what paint we had around. All the lettering was freehand. So before the walls were even dry, we had beautiful new artwork to display! You are wonderful at adding beauty to the world around you and I still love introducing my little sister to the people around us! (The waitress didn't believe me though!)
Happy Birthday from Chris and I and your adoring niece and nephews!

Happy Birthday WENDY-LOO-HOOO

Happy Birthday to you on this Amazing 24th day of August. What a good month and day to have a birthday. I'm so freaking happy you're my sister and that you get to know me. It truly was meant to be. Like everyone has said, you are so creative and fun to be around because you always have good ideas, and know just how to make things extra special. What comes to mind first, are the countless articles of clothing you've made me just because I requested it special. For example, the Long, Pencil, pinstriped skirt WITH pockets you whipped up for me. That was awesome! Then there were the scrapbook pages you made me! Then there were all the cute cards you send and packages you sent while I was in school. Those Valentine Day packages really helped a single girl out! Anywho, the point is...... YOU'RE GREAT AND I LOVE YOU AND HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!

Happy Birthday Wendy!

So talented and creative you definitely are! We still have, of course, the blanket you made for Lucy - multi-colored flowers, quilted? Super super cute! You know the one? Can you remember with everthing you have made? You are so thoughtful in your giving! I have to admit that when we decided on a theme for your B-day the first thing I thought of was something you sent me while I was in law school. Stupidly, I can't remember what it was now - maybe it was something relatively simple like a card? However I do remember how I felt. I was amazed at your creativity, it was something unique - one of a kind in the universe, and even more I felt loved. That was a big deal for me. I often felt lonely in LA.... Thank you for all that you add to my life. Happy Birthday! Love you!

Happy Birthday Wendy

You are so talented and creative and it seems to come naturally to you. I guess that is what being talented means. I love to pull out my Christmas decorations and see the cute little snowman you made for me. And just a couple of days ago, I came across the most adorable Valentine's card that you had made and again thought about what a talented girl you are. You inspire me to try and do more things and try to make life just a little more beautiful, you know- like you. We love you! Happy Birthday!!!

Happy Birthday Kristyn

Sorry, I'm the late one. Anyway, my first memory of Kristyn was when she came to our house for dinner to meet the family. I remember standing in the kitchen working on dinner, and the door bell rang, and Paul went to answer it. Then I heard someone very friendly sounding saying hi to Paul, then greet Mom and Dad for the first time. Then Paul brought her in to meet me, and she was just so sweet! She was very easy to be around and didnt seem shy or nervous at all. It was a great first meeting!

Happy Birthday Krystin!

I'm not sure when we first met... but I think it was in LA, no? We went out to eat with you and Paul... where was that? You were super fun and exhuberant. I could see that Paul was really happy to be with you. I remember thinking that Paul was doing pretty well for himself! We love you! Happy Birthday!

Happy Happy DAY!!!

I was thinking about the first time we met. Well, actually, it was not the first we met the first time I saw you. Paul called from UT and asked if I wanted to meet Kristyn, the girl he was dating. I was surprised and confused (since we were in different states) but yes, I absolutely wanted to meet her. So he told me how to look up a news clip from some little BYU campus news station where I got to see an interview with Kristyn right after a 5k run! You were so well spoken (perfect person to interview) excited and energetic and so cute only 3 inches tall on my computer screen. And then you came to my house for Balloon Fiesta and at 5'8" (?) you were just as cute and fun!

It was Balloon Fiesta, right??? If I could just find the photo to prove it!

Happy Birthday Kristyn!

The first time I saw you, it was similar to jenny's experience. Paul playing soccer in SF. We were there to meet his "girlfriend". I must admit I was grudgingly doing so. (me?! grumpy?!) No one was good enuf for my bro! I was glad when you guys moved to AZ and I really got to know you! So fun and so creative! Too good for my stinky lil' bro! But you two make a great pair and I think you were meant for this Family! (Yep, you're stuck now!) I hope you have a great birthday! Love You!

The First Time We Met...

Was not at the beach but I like this photo! The first time I ever heard your voice my thoughts of another wasted blind date melted away and I thought "She sounds really fun.. and hot! After a few nasty blind dates and no success in dating in general I was really excited to meet you! On the first date you even blew my expectations out of the water! My first impression on the phone was spot-on! Happy Birthday to my fun... hot blind date!

Happy Birthday Kristyn!

You don't look a day older!
So the first time I met Kristyn was on a grassy knoll, no wait, a grassy field watching Paul play soccer in SF. I'd been told you were dating and maybe more and I thought, "she is either really nervous or just a friendly, funny gal". It turns out all were true! Paul was equally excited to see you come cheer him on and to this day, you still both make a fun, friendly team. You are a wonderful friendly person and I love that that is truly who you are. I love you!
"Hide yo wife, hide yo kids-it's Kristyn's Birthday! Hooray!"

Go Joy!

I came across this shirt today and thought of you, Joy!
Would you wear this? I love it!

P.S. Trip pictures to follow, but I'm busy looking up sugar-free apricot jam recipes for apricots from Mom's neighbor. Their tree blew down the night we got back to Utah. Sad for them, lucky us!
