Top Ten Reasons Vic Rocks:

#10 He had the biggest blue dart I've ever seen!
#9 He could pull off the 80's hairstyle better than anyone, as pictured in the many examples from the picture wall at your parent's house
#8 He's read more books in a week than we have in our lifetime
#7 He's got good pecs
#6 He loves his nieces and nephews, and gives their parents compliments about them even when the kid is running around tearing the place apart (not that that's ever happened to us)
#5 He may not be the best dancer, but he's got heart
#4 He has been EQ prez more times than anyone in the history of the Church. And he's probably been the best as well
#3 He always says 'I love you' at the end of a phone call
#2 There's no question he adores his wife and children more than life itself
#1 He does a fantastic job of pulling the family together
Extra credit: He's a great debater. He is passionate about politics and his views, but yet entitles everyone else to their own opinion. No matter the trials and situations he's gone through he stands immovable in his testimony and life.

Victor Michael Jackson, you are a one of a kind and our family would not be the same without you. We're so glad you were born today (29 years ago?) so we could write this list for you. Happy birthday!

Love love,
Paul, Kristyn, Thackster, and baby Benny York Toft Devin TBD

Happy Birthday Vic,

Five (5) Reasons I love you.
(Also in no particular order.)
1) You were a happy child with a big smile.
2) You wanted to become a 'Land Banker' when you grew up, and even though you did not become a 'Land Banker', it was the 'thought' that you wanted to be like me - that motivated me to be a better Dad.
3) You wanted to be like the prophets which was even better and you became a better man than I.
4) You are a loving husband and father.
5) You are respected by all who know you.

I Love you Vic.
Love, Dad

Happy Birthday Vic!

Mom Said!
OK, Mom wants us to post 5 reasons we are glad you are our brother. I'm going early so no one takes my awesome reasons.
#1 Molly
#2 Lucy
#3 Peter
#4 Being the oldest, you always 'tested' life first, and you showed us that we could survive our fears. Fears like Dad, '5150', getting caught driving underage (oh wait-you INSTILLED that fear) and the fear of losing someone we love. You have shown us what it means to be strong in the face of fear and get past it or work through it! There weren't very many things that we had to deal with that you hadn't all ready gone through. But you also showed us the consequences-like jumping off 5150 when the bottom had shifted and was more shallow and that fears were survivable. I am so glad you are my older brother and have paved the way for us timid souls who may not have tried things if it weren't for you.
#5 Being Vic Jackson's sister has always had perks! And I just love you.

One of my favorte things is my son holding my Grandson. See how tired Dad looks.Peter is laughing because he knows he can use his Dad's tired time to do what he really wants. Peter can hardly waite. He has plans for Mom and Dad.

Another one of my favorite things. My Dad and Mom looking well and having company. This was on Conference week-end. Uncle Ray and Aunt Bonnie visited.

Another favorite thing is a walk on the beach with Paul and Kristyn and Thacker. I think we should have stayed longer. It was wonderful. Thacker seemed to like it too.

Peggy is graduating! She is standing and getting ready to do the actual "walk". The kid in front of her had a Brazilian flag draped over his shoulders. Peggy walked with dignity and grace.

Can you see her? She is looking at the camera. She is getting her Bachlors Degree. We are so proud of her. She is an educated women.

There we are, in front of the McKay building. We had Commencement at 10:30 and then at 2:30 was the actual walking. We went to lunch in between and then after we saw her apt. It rained on and off that day. Sure love you Peggy.
